I feel break rooms should be near restrooms, but not directly connected to them. If an employee has an unexpected or urgent run, the bathroom being in clear sight, or too close to a populated area, can make them stressed. Placement and care of a good toilet-space is closely related to breakroom-care.
I fully agree with all points in your article 😀 Not enough employers focus on their employees’ mental health. A happy worker is a hard worker, but it certainly doesn’t work the other way around.
